Hi guys,
Im using the 4000mah duralite with a fail safe 5.1v regulator. After hooking up everything and turning on the power switch, my 601 Gyro screen shows 4.8v. I hooked the same regulator to a friends heli and his 601 screen shows 4.8 too. I know the gyro should be reading 5.1v but its not, so I thought that the regulator was bad so I called up Duralite. The Duralite staff went through my set up with me and made sure that everything was hooked up correctly. He told me to hook the digital battery checker (Futaba BR-2000) to the output line of the regulator to check the outputed voltage. The battery checker screen shows 5.1v, so we know the regulator is working correctly. But why is my 601 and my friends 601 screen showing the voltage at 4.8v? Does anyone know why or have experience with this? Should I exchange for another regulator or am I fine flying the duralite system as it is? Inputs are appreciated, thanks guys.
