How to get T Rex

I have downloaded a model T Rex into the reflex model editor but I can not get it onto sim it self ???
I have downloaded models direct to REFLEX but when selecting models they are not any where to be found ??

Hi Stevie

U just have to download t-rex from www.rc-sim.de and then copying the folder u get extracting rar file into reflex model folder.

If u can't use it, u just have to install last reflex upgrade.

I have downloaded models from this site and from reflex site but they do not show up in models on sim. I tried to download them into reflex programme but they do not show up ???? They download but are not able to be opened ???? :arggg:

First go to program files/reflex/heli and make a folder in there called Align.
Then unzip the downloaded file and put all those files (jpg, par, etc....)into that folder :mrgreen:

ta da...it's there.

Hi I seemed to get the t rex some how ????????????
I have down loaded other models 747 etc from reflex site and they apear in my model list, but when I choose them a message comes up to say no model and then gives me the model make up menu.
Menu on 747 reads like this:

+ B747_JD_AM ( On list ) Will not show OK

When I click on + it open two more sub files ?

- B747_JD ( Will not show OK )
|_
B747_AMex ( Shows OK, but when I OK it, the message states no model ???

I got the T Rex somehow and it works great.

I find only models from RCSim.de that are listed as 'XTR', will work with my Reflex XTR sim. The other type are for the AFPS (or what ever?) sim and won't open in reflex XTR, unless someone knows a work around.

I would have thought that downloads from reflex site would work OK ???????????

I think the sim has an issue with folder depth. If you've got a model that's beyond one folder deep it won't load properly. For example:

C:\Progam Files\REFLEX\Heli\Align\**model files**

^^^ This will work

C:\Progam Files\REFLEX\Heli\Align\T-Rex 450\**model files**

^^^ This will not work


This is what I've seen anyway. I didn't test it thoroughly, but try it and see what happens.

Thats not true, it works on my system a couple of folders deep. The second one should work, but then of course, every computer and system is different.

If it loads, but has no model file, try selecting the model file manually in the menu, then saving the model. Worked for me with a few odd models.
