Now that I've got my new belt and pulley, should I be spraying the belt with silicon spray? Not worried about static discharge, just want to increase the lifetime of the belt...
Are you all spraying the belts down?

The bando belts don't need any lube, if you arnt spraying for ESD then just leave it alone.

I'm using the orange PU belt lubed with silicone spray. Why would you not spray for ESD protection?

I used to spray my T-rex 450 and RjX X50 belts with CRC silicone, I have never sprayed the stock or Bando belts on the 550 and have never had a ESC or static problem with either machine

The one advantage of 95 degree temps and 100% humidity!

I know what your saying. I'm in southern Indiana were the humidity is almost as bad, but it doesn't get as hot. I still like to lube the belts.

I just apply silicone grease that you can buy from a dive shop every month to prevent dry rot( I learned this trick from scuba diving.
