hey chris,
i am going to try some mixing tomorrow. What would be a good starting point for aileron and elevator mixing? I was going to start at about 18%
is that to high or low?
one other thing. Is there any trick to get that first airbubble out of the fuel line when you start off that causes the first hiccup?

That's not an air bubble :D , that's the engine not quite up to operating temp yet.
I always hover around for a minute or two, maybe do a couple of climbouts, then try a roll. If the engine "hiccups" in the middle of the roll, then it's not there yet.
If it continues to hiccup even after say 5 minutes, then lean up the high needle until it does quit the hiccupping once warmed up.

Sorry forgot the mixing.....
Start at 25, and listen to what happens to the headspeed when you do a roll and a loop.
You will also want to make sure the throttle can't "overtravel" or bind when giving cyclic inputs.
