I've done a bit of searching..
But I can't seem to figure out if I should size the quick red rocket links to the stock align balls or order quick balls for the links. If I am correct, they should both be the same size balls, right? Who's balls is bigger? I don't have any quick balls on hand to play with! Are both companies balls the same size?

The Align 700 links and balls are larger than the Quick UK. The Quick UK ones are stainless steel as well and last much longer. Why not just get the complete Quick UK link set

Cause I already bought the red rocket links. :)
I liked the longer link sleeve for more grip on the rods.
I tested one link to an align ball. They are larger for sure. Sizing the test link did not work either. These links require the right balls.
I'll order some balls to go with them. I was sort of expecting that might be the case so no real surprise. The 700 balls don't seem to fit through my ball link pliers and get chewed up. I think I need to open up my ball link plier slot some more so the ball go through when I pop them out.
Thanks for the input guys. when I get the balls to fit the links I'm gonna do a rebuild and put the aluminum clutch block in and maybe some thrust main shaft blocks and beefy gears. All unnecessary really but I don't mind putting upgrades on such a sweet heli.

Will do. Should look awesome! :)
Been out of town on vacation, fishing in the Sierra mountains so kinda slow on finishing this up yet.
I think I'm going to get the complete black quick UK link set for the complete set of balls it comes with. Then I'll save the black links it comes with as extras. Will probably be the easiest way for me to obtain the right complete ball set.
I will have to trim four of the red links down some for the pitch links and flybar cage links. I think they have longer sleeve than the black ones, but I kind of like that to be honest.
