Anymore testing videos - 4S doing some aggressive 3D,
Almost done with mine - looking to see how people are doing with their set-ups.
Bob, anymore 4S flight tests you were going to shoot.
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff, I didnt get a chance to do it last weekend. My HARD 3D pilot was nervious about the tial holding so he didnt go at it like I expected. He also knows that parts are not available yet so he didnt want to risk it.

I may try again this weekend.

Thanks Bob, looking forward to it - If I get mine running next week, will also try and post a video or two,
How is the Trex 600 coming - going to wait and see regading the setup results, because I am considering that bird as well.
If flight times are decent, it looks like a winner,
Thanks,
Jeff

I am just finishing up and will be posting 2 more build vids then it is off to fly it this Sunday.

Flight times ont he current Align packs is going to be 5 minutes based on all the flying I have seen that do so far. You can get 6 but it takes the packs beyond 80% discharge.

What align packs are you talking about Finless?

Person, he asked about the Trex600 so it was a little off topic and I am quoting the Align 4400 packs.

For the Lepton EX I can get 7 minutes but set my timer for 6 to be safe that I dont take them below 80% discharge. I am using Hyperion 3700ma 20C 4S packs on the Lepton.

Bob, thanks for the video - looks like the 4S is going to be a great heli., can't wait to get mine flying this weekend,
Regarding flight times, per your thread above - you can get six minutes of 3D'ing.
Also, do you think the belt slapping against the tail boom is a big deal.
oh, one final question - do you think the heli. flys better when you make the mod. to the rotor head or just keep the balls where they are?
Thanks,
Jeff

Even for my flying style I set for a 6 minute timer and I am just under 80% discharge. So it seems just driving the head speed around doesnt seem to make a big difference in time over the 3D stuff. Maybe 1 minute difference.

No i dont think the belt ringing in the boom is a problem as I am not seeing any belt wear yet but it is wierd to hear....

YES I would mod the links. After it got tore up in that 3D flying I could see the links are scraped up so IMHO mod the links and change the ball placement. It just makes sense and really is NO big deal nor does it change how it flys.

here is a mates first flight wiht mine:

http://www.archeli.com.au/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-1856

About 5 mintues for 2.5Ah out of flightpower 3700's, 2600rpm head speed (100% throttle with 3.9:1 ratio on Eflight 25 motor.

The power doesn't look too bad in the video, but its still a little lacking, going to order a hyperion 3025-10T tonight.

There is a language warning on this one too, if you don't like the F word don't watch! It only comes up a couple times in the song.
