Well, it's rough, not real fancy, but she weighs in at 871 grams AUW minus cam battery (don't have one yet). The cam is a a minolta dimage X50 5mp. I made some aluminum spacers and attached the camera to the gear so i can just switch landing gear when I'm not taking pics. I've still got some finishing to do,like adding a safety lanyard, but I tried a flight today and it seems to handle the weight fine and seems balanced pretty well too. I'm using my DX6 to trigger the shutter, as soon as the battery arrives (Tomorrow?) I'll post pics, I hope!

that's what I call a "roll your own" setup! post up pics when you have some. also don't forget to put a servo arm screw on that trigger servo. Also might want to slip a piece of fuel tubing ove the ball on that trigger arm. it'll give a little grip on the trigger button like your finger would do.

Thanks, good point about the screw! I'm still trying different horns, that's why it's still a double, I l;ike the fuel tube idea. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get my battery.

Another alternative is to fit a Trex ball link ball (:)) with an O-ring on the shank. This has a larger diameter than the widest part of the ball, so will provide a soft grippy point to press on the shutter button.
