Default My Fleet

I have been in this hobby for two years. I may have to slow down on my building as I am running out of space.

Maybe just add a carport? Or buy the lot next door? You must have a cadre of heli mechanics to take care of that many! What does your spare parts collection look like- where is your warehouse?

I would start selling off some.
Get rid of one of the raptor 50's, the JR electric (you have much better now), and it's a toss u between the Freya and Raptor 90 but I would probably keep the freya. For sure dump the shogun!
I have NEVER seen you fly your 90 sized helis!

Holi moli!

That's a lot of helis....

You better do something soon because at the rate your fleet is growing... by the end of the year, you'll have to get a new house!

"Oddles of dollars" My hobbies have kept me broke all my life. But you never know which day will be your last, so you might as well enjoy each day as they come. If I was to leave this world with any money left, my kids would just spend it.

Hey, I know how you can get some more room. Send all the ones you don't use to me, and I will fly and condition them so they don't get all dusty. I mean, dust them so they don't get dusty, not fly.

Well if you have 12 helis and you have been doing this for 2 years, that means one heli every 2mts! That is almost more often than I buy parts of my Trex!! I buy and sell as I find a heli I prefer, its not the helis that take up space but all the backup stuff!!

Well I think I have enough helicopters for awhile. My real interest is in scale and many of these were built with a scale project in mind.

I would gladly sell my Shogan if I could find anyone stupid enough to buy it. The JR Voyager was my first helicopter. It was sold to me when I knew absolutely nothing about helicopters. The sales person assured me that the JR would be the perfect helicopter for me. They knew less than I did, but some day I will put a brushless motor in it and turn it into a fun bird. My next helicopter was a Dragonfly, which I was very glad to be rid of.

The Raptor 90 SE fits in my Hughes 500 fuselage. One of the Raptor 50s was a present. It started as a 30 and I converted it to a 50; it is intended for a Bell 222 fuselage. The Freya fits a Bell Jet Ranger that I have been working on off and on for about a year. The T=Rex 600 is intended to go into a Hughes 500 or an Aerostar. One of the small T-Rexs fits a small Hughes 500 fuselage. One of the T-Rexs is a Frankencopter; built of spare parts. I was originally doing a lot of experimenting with it.

I have been retired for the last two years and can work on them 24 hours a day if I feel like it. I sometimes go to bed at 02:00 Am and I sometimes wake up at 02:00 Am.

Besides the helis. I have built for myself; I have built a halve a dozen for friends.

Man is it good to be retired.

Well the rest of us poor people have to work to fund our fixes. Maybe there is more to naming helis after carnivorous dinosaurs - they have ferocious appetites for money!!
