Where to buy??

Just got a nice fat bonus and have decided to "upgrade" from my 450SE to the 600. Problem is, I can't find anyone with one in stock. Everyone is taking preorders. My neighbor across the street has one preordered from Heliproz, but I know it'd cheese him off to no end if I scored a 600 first. <grin>

Anyone know where to find one??

the problem is that lots and lots of other people pre-ordered and now the machines are
arriving to dealers but in small drips and drabs. So, everyone who pre-ordered is
slowing moving up in the queue.

I'd be very suprised to find a dealer w/ 'uncommited' inventory at this time.

Skiddz, I just helped gordohigh get his kit order yesterday (last one in stock), from www.tech-mp.com ( www.techmodelproducts.com same site). Email Joe at tech-mp, he is the owner and a very helpful and friendly person to deal with. I believe he is getting more this week so ask him so you might be able to get your kit next week, and tell him that Alexander sent you.

I've order alot of my stuff from him. Every he ships is via usps so usually you get it in 2 days.

I don't mind waiting, but I know it'll irk the crap outta my neighbor if I get mine 1st. Even more so if I pop out in the cul-de-sac and fly it before he gets his. :)

Heard back from Joe earlier. Should be able to order my 600 on Tuesday and have it by Friday. Can't wait to gloat. hehehe

Also, there is a battery deal for an align 4400 6s2p for 179.00 I believe. I got that too, until I can see how many cells the esc/motor can run, and the configuration for maybe more parallel.

I also noticed he sells the lipo alarm and other electronics. Good luck and have fun ribbing your neighbor.... :mrgreen:

I'm not sure if I'm going to get the battery deal or not. I've been following a couple threads on the Li-Moly "roll your own" packs. Also, like you, I'd like to see just what the gear can handle. I'm still trying to decide if I should go all out on the electronics or go with a decent middle ground. I don't do any 3D stuff but would love to get to that level someday.

The neighbor will be thoroughly chuffed. I'm going to walk over to his house, 600 box in hand and ring the doorbell. When he comes out I'm going to do the "neener neener" dance then run away, giggling like a schoolgirl.

Or maybe I'll wait to get it assembled then do all that. :twisted:

No problem, gordohigh got his today.. Good luck on the build.. I'm still waiting on my replacement washout arm :-( but I was told by Noel that his thinks they will be in tommorow :-)

Also, Joe makes a mini antenna, and he shipped me one, along with a free ferrit ring. I didn't know I was getting them, but hey, nice promo for a purchase. As you say, helluvaguy!!!

Yep, he told me FedEx is to deliver a couple to him tomorrow, he'd package one up and send it right out to me via USPS Priority mail. He also gave me some good "gotchas" to watch out for when building. I was in the movie theater and my phone went off this evening (Saw Pirates - cool flick) before the show started. Joe was calling to verify my credit card info 'cuz it didn't go through the 1st time. :)

Yep. He didn't mention the mini antenna, but that'd be cool to get one. I spent a good hour on his site checking out the tandem ship he's designed and test flying. I asked about a CH-46 fuselage for it and he said there'd be one coming. I may have to get one of those. :) He also told me to call back when I was ready to buy Rx, servos and gyro 'cuz he could "cut me a deal". Nice!
