Finless's video states that you need a 15mm spaced holes for the 3 servos.
All of my Futaba arms are 13.5 this is the X shaped and the six armed. Does anyone out there have one of these Double arms (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXH361&P=0) laying around that you could measure to check to see if it has 15mm holes from the center. I could just drill a round wheel but I really dislike the look of the round wheels.

use the round wheels. They are stronger than the arms type by a LARGE margin, and you can drill a hole anywhere to achieve 90*.
Of course you could buy the dubro HD arm set also..

None of my futaba arms have 15mm holes. You going to have to use the wheels and they are better anyway as you can get 90 without using sub trims.

Well I found a large double like the one in the link on one of my trucks. It only is 14mm :( Yeah the dubro's is the only thing I have found with 15mm I just hate spending $20 for 3 arms. But I also hate the round wheels I think it makes the setup look cheap but thats just me.

Lol, I'm in the same shoes as you. I have the Hitec HS-6975HB, and they come with the round wheel too and other arms that dont work (same as Bob in the videos). I was going to get the dupro, however I didn't know if it would work until I saw the specs. And yes it sucks cuz it 10 bucks per bag and out of all the arms in that bag only 2 are the one we need. At least your would be black, hitec versions are white. They do look pretty strong.

So you think these would work ok? I wonder how the center. Let me know.

Thanks!

Where do you see those on servocity.com ? I found the x ones but they are white and I dunno how strong they are and how long from center.

Thanks.

tcast305, I don't know if its a B/W pic but you can call them. All of the hitec I have bought from them came with the big red arms. I sure they sell them seperately

BTW a FYI do not waste your money on the dubro arms. They are 16MM not 15mm like they are listed. why is it so hard for these companys to do anything right!!! Looks like I will have to drill the round wheel as no one makes a 15mm futaba arm thats crazy!!!!!!!!

We are using the Futaba 9451 Digital Servos on CCPM Those come with a heavy duty "T" shape servo arm. We used the 16mm hole to mount the CCPM linkage on that servo arm, trimmed off the extra material on the servo arm for clearance, and it works fine. There are no strange or weird cyclic/collective inputs and 3D's very well. Smooth as silk.

Pics on our web site here:

We did have to extend the canopy mounts out a bit with some washers. Those servos stick out a bit more than designed for. So the linkage must be mounted on the outside of the servo arm that can hit the canopy when mounted. Not a big deal at all. I think this was designed for the HiTec servos, so Futaba servos were not accounted for in the design. It was all easy to work with and make the Futaba 9451 servos work just fine.

If was to do that and not match the 15mm spacing then I think it would actually be better to go in on the holes to the 14mm position as you will gain some resolution out of the servo e.g. the servo has to move more.
