Is Blade Lipo Bal charger ok for bigger Lipos?

My Twister/Blade CP clone comes with 1000mah 3s1p Lipos and a small charger with red and green lights on it. The charger charges via the Lipos balance leads and turns off automatically - so its really useful. Can I use instead 1500mah Lipos, still 3s1p of course, with this stock supplied charger? (accepting a longer charge up time naturally).

I really want bigger batts cos I'm only getting about 8 mins flight time with my newest pack (the older packs die after about 3 mins). Just doin' circuits.

I can't think of any reason you couldn't use it. However, I don't think the Twister/Blade would fly well with a 1500mAh battery simply because of the added weight.

I think the max recommended size for that helicopter would be a 1320mAh, and I've heard that's pushing it, weightwise.
