Hello, what would be the best way to fix the sprag clutch on a raptor 90. It got stock on me twice this week. I had changed it recently. Is there a permanent solution to it. thanks

Probably going to have to change the main shaft also.On most 'copters the sprag engages the main shaft directly and almost any wear will be to much. Don't know of any permant fix. Every mechanical joint wears eventually.

Raptor 90 freewheels run on their own hardened inner race, unlike the less costly method of riding on the mast. All raptors are built this way.
The raptor does not use a sprag but a one way bearing. Often units with no freewheel inner race which ride on the mast have two smaller diameter one way bearings contained in the auto hub.

If you tightened the lower "jesus" bolt too tight at ANY time, the sleve where the auto hub rides is probaly deformed causing the problem. Replace both the auto hub and the inner sleeve and do not overtighten the bolt.
I replaced my auto hub last winter with a Quick UK unit. It has the two "supporting" bearings mentioned above plus the one-way bearing for the auto hub. My autos now hang MUCH longer than before... Meaning that the energy does not dissipate as fast as before.
