Hi
I got a V-Bar system from a mate today wanting me to try it on my Trex 700.
Going through the V-Bar manual I read that it can have peaks of up to 20A. I will be using a 9 channel Spektrum 2.4 gig receiver (AR9000) with an Align 2 in 1 regulator and JR 8915 (8717) servo’s. The manual for the regulator says it can handle 6A continues but says nothing about the peaks.
Does anybody currently run a V-Bar system using the Align 2 in 1 and above setup or know if this setup will work. Would hate to drop my machine trying out the V-Bar.
Thanks

I have got the 6A Align reg that comes with the 600E on my trex 700E with the Mikado Vbar and have done about seven 3D flights with it so far. It is all running very well. I have BLS 451s on cyclic and BLS 251 on the tail. I put an eagle tree on the servos with and loaded all the servos up till they stalled and only got just over 5 amps. It's working so far on my setup but not sure how it will go with the 6A align 2 in 1.

I am running SK350 FBL and one of these http://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITEDHOBBIES/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6233&Product_Name=TURNIGY_8-15A_UBEC_for_Lipoly

Inolab 760MG servos and only pulling about 200MAH per flight and no dramas what so ever.

20 AMP is max throws on everything fully loaded, i dont think you will see that at all and i wouldnt worry to much.

Vbar may be different in current draw but i doubt it would pull much more than the SK module it all realy comes down to servo current draws.
