Hi,

I love my recoil starter but i'm dreading the day i yank on the chord and break the rope and lose a day's flying.

There's no shortage of starters at my club which use 6mm hex so i thought it might be wise to fit a 6mm hex adapter to the starter shaft on my spectra.

I looked at ricks but the available range is overwhelming. What's the best one to get?

gohbee, raptor, or century will work fine.

I mean the small adapter that goes on the smooth clutch shaft and has a 6mm female hex.

Do i just need a normal solid adapter or should i go for the ones with the built-in one way bearing.

no, get the normal 'solid' one. the ones w/ built-in oneway aren't beefy enough.

I think MinAir has one that fits onto a 6mm round shaft.

the one off a rappy 50v2 works great .. is soft enough to strip out when you start it in the wrong model memory too.... don't ask ...
