[quote="rfaster"]I would like to know how the 10S2P Emoli Flys Compared to the 8k TP setup. From what I understand the Tp 8000 setup Flys heavy-especially Compared to the EVo 2o's. Wondering Why you are only Flying 5 to 6 Minutes -I fly 10 to 12 on the emol 10S2p Setup."]

I have never flown the 8K packs. I flew the flights for only 5-6 minutes to get a baseline on how much I took out of the packs for a given amount of flight time. Subsequent flights would have been around the 10 minute mark as I put less than 3K Ma back into the packs. I was just dissapointed with the performance and did not want to fly it that way. So I reconfigured the packs to 11s and changed the first stage gear to a 60T. I will fly it for a couple/few flight in the 11s, then add another cell to the pack for a 12s. I also removed the receiver battery and intalled a Ubec.
The ready to fly weight now with the 11s is 10lb 12oz. . This is a full 3lb lighter than with 10s2p and Rx battery. Lifting the model now feels like a normal 60 ship whereas before, even my gasser wasn't that heavy. You almost had to brace yourself to pick it up. I will bring it to the field with me today to try it out.

I never did get any response to my question to wether the Hacker will tollerate 11s/12s packs. Nor could I find any referance to anybody that tried it in any searches on several forums. Oh well, guess I'll find out....

11s , huh? on a Hacker , huh? no , if you do try it , run it wide open , I know schulze can handle 11s , the 32-55 , schulze rates there rx at 1.5 volts , kontronics rates theres at 1.2 volts , so times that by 32 subC will tell you what it could handle , Hacker , dont know , and dont use them ,

I meant the Hacker motor c50-15xl. not the esc. The esc I am using is the CC HV110.

Tried to fly the ION today. It launched and crashed itself right after spool-up. I blame it on the UBEC. :bomb: I just installed a new 45v UBEC and was running on one battery pack (5s). Now I have to rebuild the heli. :arggg: :arggg: :arggg:

Sorry to hear about the crash. Had Fun with a ultimate 45 Ubec From Cool flight and did the take off and Crash 2 times. I was not satisfied that it was the UBC the first crash so had to try it again. The only good news is that my testing was on a swift
