I'm starting to try some 3D moves with my raptor 30 V2 and I feel it's time to upgrade it.
I was told that I should upgrade it straight to a 50, but it's quite an investment and i feel that my 30 is not yet ready to be retired!

Here is my equipment: standard servos (except tail), GWS gyro :? , O.S. 32, T6XAs TX, and all the raptor original features. I have already upgraded my gyro, blades and TX.

Do you think that I should change anything else?
I'm quite excited to begin some new moves!

Thanks!

You say you upgraded the gyro, did you get a 401? If not, that's a good upgrade. Also, digital servos all around (Futaba 9252 work great) give you snappier control response and more precision. All that can also be carried over to your coming 50 :-).

That depends what you want to do in the future.

If you are going to keep the 30 and will be adding a R50 then:
Get the white paddles and the TT Mainrotor metal hub with the red dampers.

If you are not going to keep the model but sell it to upgrade later to a more 3D capable heli:
Get the white paddles and red dampers only.

The above will give you the most bang for the bug

After that..better quality servos

You do not need to upgrade all of the servos at once.
I would start with a good digital for the collective and do the cyclic as funds permit.
The green TT paddles will speed up the cyclic a lot and are a very cheap upgrade.
The gyro and tail servo will need to be upgraded when you start fast backwards maneuvers.
Since your TX has limited pitch and throttle curves and mixing, you may want to invest in a Governor and/or a better TX.

When you start getting really rambunctious or start to crank the head speed up you will want to get the metal head-block.

As was mentioned above, all of these upgrades will work on the 50.

This is just my opinion, you can talk to 10 different people and get ten different good answers to this question.
