Damn - Damn and double Damn, work wont give me the dates off for Ircha, i am feel GUTTED - i was so looking forward to the Heli Jam, i am really really pissed with my work at the minute, my boss if full of :badair: my head feels like it is gonna go off like a :bomb: ah well i suppoose i had better stop :arggg: and get a :hug: .

This is a great story.
I have read so much about the chances of the battery's to catch on fire when I was charging with my Orbits I smelled smoke. Immediately stopped called Thunder Power they said ship both battery in. Before I did this I figured I would charge the second battery after 15 minutes same smell. It was not the battery's it was 12 amp regulated power supply smoking from the heat. Put a fan on it kept both battery's waiting on canopy from Jody.
Moral here is there is a lot of power in those battery's.
I was bringing my pop up for IRCHA let me know if you need me to bring anything else.

Information about IRCHA.
Here is some information from Ron Kummer about the Jamboree. For the ones that plan to be there before Wednesday evening August 11th.
We will have more info posted on the IRCHA website but just to let you know about the facilities at the AMA site. The AMA grounds are divided into 4 sites. Site 1 is at the front, site 2/3 in the middle, and site 4 is the back most location and is where we hold the Jamboree. We have a dump station on the grounds beside the maintenance buildings. City water can be obtained at numerous locations around the grounds (not at the dump station). Site 2/3 has 35 RV parking spots with 50 amp service (no water/dump). Site 4 has 10 RV spots with 50 amp service.
We DO NOT allow anyone back on site 4 until we, and the AMA staff have the field setup on Wednesday, and the vendors that arrive early are setup.
Absolutely NO pitting is to be setup until we open the field. If you would like to assist in carrying tables, chairs etc you may drive back. After setup is completed we will close site 2/3, where flying is permitted prior to the event, then allow pilot setup and flying from site 4.
