shot these this AM. I forgot to ask the real estate agent which way the house faces and wouldn't you know it I had to shoot into the morning sun. I may go back if he wants them reshot.
That Voyager is almost completely silent at 70'.
anyhow.. here are some proofs I sent the agent.

Those are great, too bad about the sun. :(
I usually google an address, then hit the satelite button so I can check out the layout. I would guess in your area that google has street level detail so you can even check out places to fly from or other obstructions.
I can't believe you are getting paid with that voyager already!
I remember when you just bought that thing a week or so ago, and it is already up and flying and making money!
Way to go.

disclaimer: no disrespect or negtivism meant, just discussion and thoughts about real estate shots.
It is very interesting to me the angles of your shots.
Your last shot would be a typical shot of a house for me, and an over the house shot, and a shot from the side to get the backyard.
When I first viewed them, my mind said that's weird the angles you have.
Then looking at them more, I realize that if you wanted a squared up backyard shot from the side, you would have to fly over someones house (neighbor), and that introduces some risk, and also it was probably early in the morning to be buzzing over someones house.
Also by shooting the angles that you did, it appears you could just fly over the street, and not have to go over anyones house which is the safe thing to do.
Now that I look at them more, I do the same thing with angles, if I cannot get far enough away to get a shot on a property, I will always shoot the diagonal to get it all in.
Again, not nocking anything here, this is just me speaking out loud as I viewed your images.
I have not had to fly as tight a property as you have here, and this is good food for thought for me.
Here are typical shots that I shoot, but as you can see, I had complete access to all sides of this house.

Oh yeah, did you shoot these solo and blind?
Double kudos if you did.

I was wondering the same as Scott (his last question)... Camera operator? Solo with video down? Blind?
Good pics, by the way. DJ, you've inspired me to be creative with my regional real estate people and come up with new ways to sell them pics! :D
Thanks,

yup. Depending on the package the agent buys determines the level of risk that I fly. If they do the high end package I will fly over other houses and back yards.
For this one the guy is only spending $125 so I get the heli up and grab a few shots from the street.
I saw some of your shots Scott and youre right... you have better acces to shoot the sides. Where I'm as most of the homes are right next to each other and the house or trees next to the subject masks it. so I have to shoot more vertically.

yup. what I do for now is take off and flip my shutter switch to hold in the down position. It takes a photo every 3 seconds or so. I fly around for about 3 or 4 minutes and then download and pick the good shots. I find it pretty easy to do this way. Don't have to set up downlink gear and have another person on hand. This shoot this morning took eme a total of 12 minutes from pulling up to the house to driving off

Not bade for $10.42 a minute.
Very good pics DJ and good idea about charging for your levels of risk.
