Anyone using the default HeliMax motor with their MX400 pro and have a tach?

For an idle-up pitch of -10/+10 does anyone know about what the head speed is at hover for the default HeliMax motor with a 100/80/100 and/or 100/90/100 throttle curve? I am trying to determine if I should use a throttle curve of 100/80/100 or 100/90/100 to keep the head speed up for sport flying(for inverts and loops when I am ready). I am still just hovering and moving the bird around right now though.

I mistakenly setup my throttle curve at 0/80/80 in Normal mode and found out quickly that something was wrong. Full throttle made the helicopter ascend only 1 - 2 mph :arggg: . I just made the changes to use 0/80/100 in normal and 100/80/100 in idle-up. Hopefully I will see a big improvement tonight when I test it. I really wish I knew what the head speed was though.

First tip drop the helimax motor befor sportflying. you will want to have a 3000 to 3200 kv to use that 14t pinion. I run an align 430l 3550kv 35amp esc and a 11t pinion. will go to 13t when I want more power. with the 11t I get 12 min on a 2200 12c lipo. I'm runing curvs in norm of t 0/50/100 p -3/0/+9 and idl1 is t 100/90/100 p -10/0/+10. I'm thinking of going to 0/55/100 on norm curve but when you start bast to be at 50% mid stick on thrtl. First I will put on align 315 (actual size 305mm) procarbons to get the lift. The 289 woodies just dont quite have the lift I like.
