OK, so I've now found the limit of 10C cells. Great for learning orientantions, fff, circuits etc. Super bargain and perfect for the job.... but the minute you start doing acro - they show their limits.
Came out of a loop yesterday and was fairly hard on the collective - beep beep beep went my lipo monitor. Pack still had over 50% in it. Just couldn't handle the draw and clearly dropped below minimum voltage for a couple of seconds. Then went back to normal. Didn't get hot or anything but clearly showed it was at it's limits.
Ahh well. I still stand by the fact they are bargains for learners at around £18 off the shelf (or £12 a pack if you make them yourself)
On the upside - I will be ordering some higher "C" cells today and next week will make an instructional video on making your own lipo packs.
