All I have to say is D$#N, this thing is like it is on rails. I also have an Extreme but it is no where near this fast. I am going to have to check my setup on the extreme.

PURE AWESOME!

Thanks guys, just wanted to get that out.

The first time I flew my Tempest 3D I started yelling for HC to come and land it-- it was just soooo Damn quick. I had been flying my Tempest FAI a lot and had gotten used to it being so calm. After a few flights I just started yelling YEEE HAAA. :D

The frames on the Tempest 3D are G10 and the tail servo is located on the left side. The Tempest 3D rotor head is different from the FAI. 3D head uses bell hiller mixing similar to the other XL rotor heads.

Tempest FAI, frames are carbon fiber, tail servo and tail rotor is located on right side. Tail pitch slider is CNC all metal unit. Tempest FAI rotor head has multply adjustments that can be made to it.

The flying difference is night and day. (I have flown Shannons)

The Tempest FAI is SUPER smooth and stable, pretty heavily dampened in the head so if just flows from one move to another. The Tempest 3D is the quickest machine I have ever flown. Wickedly fast.

It is always nice to be close to Shannon when he is flying so you can take his transmitter if he has to do some business on his cell phone. :D

The FAI is much calmer-- I use it to learn anything new. Then go to the 3D and do it 3 times faster :D

I don't remember- but I think I let you fly my FAI at Blacksheep last yerar- It might have been the 3D but I believe it was the FAI.

If your talking about me, I have flown your FAI 5 or 6 tiomes, and I flew your 3D when it had the flybar weights on it, and when you first took them off at the post office. Youve been busy lately Shannon. Thanks for letting me fly your machines, you know I would break out the checkbook if I crashed one. Only one of your machines I have not flown is your Ion-X I think...although maybe I have, just don't remember.
