I wonder if it will be able to fly 3D, it could be a big hit if the performance is there.

It will be a big hit either way. I'm getting one anyway... can't wait!

Would be nice for FPV or Aerial photograph or Scale. But if align make this virsion very light,i think will be capable of doing hard 3D very easy.

This will be a great helicopter. I don't think that's a Zenoah engine. And with that fuel tank, it will be a good 30 minutes in the air.

You can tell it's not a Zenoah simply because it doesn't take up the entire frame! Looks like an SPE 26CC to me.

SPE says "SPE" across the front so I don't think it's am SPE. Maybe it's an Align brand engine?

It should be a " 700G " if there is any logic to it...

Well, it's not a 700E so it's basically a lemon. Good luck with it just the same. At least it doesn't have an ESC that'll go up in smoke when you assemble the box.

Just because they're not making what you want doesn't mean that it's going to be a "lemon"..

Yea it's probably a rebrand but as we know from the Align 50/90 engines they are exactly the same except for the Align stamp.

That's certainly a Walbro carb.

Maybe a DL30?

Maybe a DL30?

If so, that would make it a monster. But I really think it's a prototype. There is no point in having a 32oz tank, and that cooling fan is just not big enough for a gasser.

Maybe a DL30?

Defiantly looks like a Dl-30, yeah needs more like a 14oz tank....

Doesn't the DL series have a carb on the back like the DA-50 (and not on the side like in this picture)?

no the dl-30 has the carb on the side....go look at pictures....

Here's a link to their website:

http://www.dlusa.net/Products.html

I see a carb on the back. But I'm no expert on DL engines. I've only known a guy who had one on his Extra 300.

The cooling fins on a DL-30 are higher up on the head then the engine on the prototype.

700G Ya Baby! DL, DA, XYZ?

PS: I just like the fact that they are entertaining the idea seriously.

anyways i hope its not some overweight 26cc engine that bogs in a simply roll or flip....:)
