So I ditched the woodies and installed some fiberglass blades on my Raptor 50.
FLew it yesterday afternoon and the tracking was off. Adjusted and it was the wrong way. Readjusted and still no good. I tried this for several flights. Never saw such a problem with tracking.
So I put it on the bench and threw a pitch gauge on it. Aha! One blade was at zero (center stick) but one was off a few degrees. So I adjusted so it was at zero and expected good things.
But flew again and the tracking was still very ugly!!
Any suggestions???

Replace your bent spindle? Just a guess.

Also check head for loose things (ball-links etc)

Mark one blade and do your adjustments on that blade only.

Are you saying that you had tracking issues with the wood blades and replaced them with the fiberglas blades and are still having tracking issues? Hopefully, both sets of blades don't have issues.
If so, and you replaced the spindle and things still are not correct then you may want to look at screws that hold the ball link unto the blade holder. I had one that got bent after a crash and it kept changing the pitch on that blade.
Like "MrMel" said a ball link could be loose. The bent screw can be hard to detect so you may have to remove both of them to inspect them.
Just something you might want to check.
Also, what head speed are you running?
Hope you find your problem. Let us know what it takes to fix.

Did you lubricate your dampners as this can also be an issue with the tracking of the blades :?:

Lube the dampners?
Hmmm, never heard this one. Lube on outside diameter, inside diam or both??

Lube the outside of the spindle and or the inside of the dampeners with Silicon Dielectric grease, available at any auto parts store.
