There's some talk among the contest pilots about throwing together another contest somewhere in the south. Time frame is around late Sept or October.

Would you guys care to host a no-frills contest one weekend this fall? No sponsors, no trophies, nothing special...just a field and a box. Maybe some food. :D

I know Black Sheep has the helicopter fun fly around the middle of September. John Garst (bigrcr) would be who you need to contact. If they do anything in the fall there after football season starts. Have to make sure it is a weekend that Clemson is not playing football at home. When they are playing at home, motel rooms are scarce and at a preminum.
