I just cant get FMS version 2 alpha 8.5 withsmartpropoplus to work with my DX6.

I have picked all JR in the propoplus settings and got all my channel correct.
I have no control over the model whatsoever!
Looking at the calibration window the signals just seem to switch on and of randomly.

HELP!!!

Try creating a new model and set it as an "AC" (aircraft) instead of "HE" (heli)
My G3 only work when my controler is setup for an aircraft...

Good luck

Are you trying to use the audio line-in port as your interface? I had the same problem you describe when I tried using the audio line-in jack on my IBM(Lenovo) notebook computer. I had a spare Creative Labs USB audio device. When I used that as my audio line-in device, the DX6 worked fine.

In the end I got a JR-USB game port adapter cable which works much better. They are only about $35 (US) and should work with most sim software (since Windows XP sees the DX6 as a game controller).

I had trouble with my DX6 and the audio input+SmartpropoPlus combination too. Some days it worked, some days it didn't. You can try changing the gain on your mike input via the PCs audio control panel. Try either higher or lower.

In the end, like jrohland, I got a USB interface from www.milehighwings.com and it works very well indeed with FMS and ClearView and several different PCs.
