Working on some other guy's chopper.

most of the moving parts on the heli are brand new. running a helimax 2250kv + 14t, castle35, 20C lipo, parkbec6v, HS65's, S9650 + 401, trex XL tail boom/tail rotating unit/bladegrips and 325pro woods.

high gov, 1.52 software on the ESC, i know this stuff...

1st thing i noticed was the single dampened head cannot handle the extra rotating mass (325 pros versus the 290mm OEM) and i could not get it to track. i replaced the orings with solid aluminum spacers and now it tracks DEAD on.

here's the problem - once this thing gets spooled up halfway. this thing develops severe and resonating wobble, it affects the gyro/tail so i have to shut it down.

why is it wobbling as if the mainshaft were severely bent??? the blades are tight. they are brand new and they fly perfectly in my heli so i know that's not the problem. the problem is non existent when i spool it 100% without the mainblades. it's smooth as silk.

i theorize that the plastic is flexing under load, and causing a wobble that resonates the whole heli into complete instability.

This is so unlike my 1st generation ARK x400. my heli had zero problems when it was stock.

here's the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9We6fyUStBM

gyro is in rate mode which is not completely dialed in because i can't even spool this thing up all the way.
wobble develops at about 17seconds and i shutdown at 20seconds.

im stumped...someone help me lmao

The original MX400 was notorious for having poor quality plastic, and I even heard stories of heads flying apart (inflight). It would not surprise me if there is another issue with the PRO version.

I realize you said the OEM track fine, but did you spool them up with any of the issues you're having with the PRO315s?
