Guys,

I've just installed a GV1 and it works fine, but it does not switch off when I flick into 'Throttle Hold'. Any ideas what I need to do to cure this?

I have chosen to have an ON/OFF switch which functions perfectly. I have 1500 Normal/1700 Idle 1/ 1800 Idle 2 all assigned to the Flight Mode switch, and was only trying Autos in Normal mode today. I'd appreciate your help.

She would drop to 'Idle' and auto normally when the Governer was turned OFF on the transmitter switch by the way... Radio Type: JR 9XII.

Easiest way to do this. Set up the StSW on the GV1 menu. This will then turn the GV1 off when the throttle stick is lowered to the idle or lowest position.

Since throttle hold is set to idle. The GV1 will cut off when the throttle hold switch is engaged.

Also the GV1 will turn off when in Normal flight condition and the stick is lowered to idle.

In the idle up conditions you would need to have the lowest point in the throttle curve set to at least 25% for the GV1 to stay active in idle ups.

The ON/Off switch on the transmitter will still work the GV1. Even when StSW is activated in the GV1 menu.

I had been reading the intructions but couldn't quite grasp what was going on there. I just took StSW off INH and it's working how I want it now, Arming around 1/4 stick in Normal - then On the whole time unless I flick in 'Throttle Hold' when it turns Off again.

You're the man David. Thanks!

Just remember to switch to Normal mode before turning off Throttle Hold, if you want to keep your clutch. Don't ask me how I know :-).
