I recently purchase a 14mz I just rec'd it today via ups.
I knew from the sales web site that the 14mz came with a " tool box case" and finally saved up the money to get one.
I was disappointed when I rec'd it. There was no indication on the web site that the case has changed.
the case looks like the 12z flat case.
I was looking forward to having the tool box case.
Does anyone know if they still have this type case with the 14mz printing on it?
I am looking for a 14mz tool box case it looks like this:

Yes Futaba change to the flat case about 4 months ago? Maybe more? I understand you CAN order the case you picture if you like.

I have not applied for the access yet to the 14mz web site.
I thought the flat case was a mistake and was trying to gather some information before I returned the radio for the correct unit with the correct case.

I am guessing you would have to order the double stand up 14MZ case from a hobby shop in Japan. I don't believe Tower or Hobbico will stock them even if they are still being produced. Futaba changed to the lay down style case back in March as finless mentioned. I believe they did this when the 12Z was introduced. The 14MZ was the first one to come in the double stand up case. I had a double stand up case for my 9Z's. I ordered it from a hobby shop in Japan.

There is the double transmitter case. It is not going to have 14MZ printed on it I don't believe.

I will trade you my printed 14MZ tool box case for your flat one.
I prefer the flat one.

Sent you a PM. But I would guess a double case from Futaba is going to be just like the one that Tower sells. That is the same case that did come with the 14MZ. Only difference was 14MZ was printed on the case. I think Futaba has discontinued the case with 14MZ printed on it and just has the double Futaba Team case now. They have had the double case for several years. Guess they just included them with the 14MZ for a few months.
