I am lloking to upgrede from my dragonfly 4ch fp heli up to something with cp. I am mostly looking into a trex and found this deal on ebay

and was woondering if this is a good choice for my next heli.

I wouldn't.. Jus tbecause your gonna have to spend money upgrading it down the line. If you want a trex for cheap get an xl at least from what I understand it there are fixes in it from the x version. GO with good servos and gyro. Most people are running 2100 MAh batteries and the lipo charger is probably a cheapie 500 MA charger that will take 3+ hours to charge yoru battery. (I made that mistake) I spent around $600 for my setup with a 401 gyro. Got mine from helihobby. I've probable spent around another $400 on parts to fix the damn thing after crashes. Although I've upgraded a bunch of parts to the bling cnc aluminum. Just my thoughts. I'm still new though so others might have a different opinion. That setup will get ya flying though it looks like.

I agree if you are going to buy a T rex get an XL or SE if you buy a cheap set-up you electronics might not last as long and you'll be paying extra to buy new electronics. i did the same thing buying from rc-expert it came with cheap servos after a crash all the servos were stripped, also the aluminum tail that came with it was also cheap.
