Flying R50 in tough conditions

My favourite heli is my Walkera 35 but I also flew the R50 a few times. I think I got less than 10 flights with it and i never even thought of taking down the trainer skid. Today I was going to show it to someone and I was a little scared of the high speed wind. When I got there I realized that I forgot the trainer skid and I had to fly the heli w/o it or go home like a dumb. NO WAY! I flew it and even great, though because of the windthe hovering position was something like this: \ instead of this: - ... get it ? :)

Yeah, I've been there :-). I'm always amazed by how little the wind affects a 50 size helicopter.

I use to fly a T-REX and i started with even a lighter heli which was a Honey Bee..but after flying the TITAN, gone were the wind effect...well what wind?
