Hello,
I want to update to bigger grips. Can I use the R50N575-6 OUTRAGE grips and do they fit with the standard Blade Grip Arm Assembly R550309-SS. I would be happy if someone of the outrage team could confirm the compatibility.

Yes they will bolt up to the N50 grips, the only other thing you need is the longer spindle, part # R50N575-8

The next question is, if the pitch arms from the standard 550 bolt to those grips and work, do the flybarless arms from the larger grips bolt up and work with the standard grips? That would make flybarless conversions even easier.

Hi Charley
Does the 50N grips fit with SAB Blades 550 without any modifications? I heart with standard 550 grips its needed to modify the SAB Blades slightly.

I'm just GUESSING here, but the 50N grips probably have MORE room for the root of the blade because they are designed to hold 600mm blades.
I'm the one who had to sand down the corners of my SAB Red Devils to make them fit in the 550 grips. It was only a tiny amount to get the clearance I needed though, and it didn't do any damage to the blades at all.

I have had SAB 0320 blades on my outrage 550 from the beginning and there is no interference with the root /grip at all on them

Yup, doesn't occur with each set of blades. trextuning didn't have interference with his either... but I sure did.

Are you using Red Devils? The 0320 are F3C type blades with a lot of refley in the trailing edges...The auto great but may not be what the 3D guys want...
