Getting Flutter at high head speed's ?????

Hi guy's, I am tuning my new Rappy 50 SE w/ OS Hyper 50 motor ,i've got most all the alluminum upgrades. Anyway ,after breaking in the motor, during a flight where i was getting the motor running great for 3D i ran across some (LOUD) flutter from the chopper, the only way to get ti to stop was to hit the throttle hold and bring the head speed back down , i realize that this is probably due to too much head speed but was wondering what it was????? My LHS said to run about 1900 to 2000 rpm on the head speed but if i set the HS there and then put the rappy in some good 3D the HS climbs, if i pull down my throttle curve , the engine is not where it likes to be and pitch control is boggy?? Short of getting a governor , i'm not sure what i can do? has anyone else run across this problem?

It is all a matter of balancing the pitch and throttle curves to get your desired 2000 HS.
If you are getting into aggressive 3D then you may also need to set up 2 PMIX's. for cyclic to throttle. Start with just 10% on the mix to give the throttle a little more during hard maneuvers.

If you get a Gov then you can be lazy and just get the throttle curve to a point that it is safe should the gov quit during a flight.

Thanks for the reply , I think i'll go look at Gov's this weekend, in the meantime i'll pull down the throttle curve , if anything it'll teach me collective managment.... :badair:
