Hi, I have an Xcell Spectra G kit that's been sitting for a few weeks. I've never built a helicopter before and I'm nervous to build it myself. I wonder if there are any pros in Chicago area who is willing to guide me through the build (I do the labor, you guide me) in some spare time. I can even pay a reasonable fee if possible.
Thanks

I'm not an Ma guy, but I know a few in your area that could help you out. I'm in Milwaukee, and theres a guy kinda near me that used to fly MA his machines were awesome. PM me for his info if your interested.

I fly MA and live in a far west/northwest suburb of Chicago. Is there anything you specifically need help on or you just want someone looking over your shoulder while you are building?

Hi, I live in the West suburb. Since this is the first helicopter kit I build, and since MA kits are not known to be cheap and/or easy, I really don't feel comfortable about going at it alone.
Actually, I want to build it myself so I can learn the machine fully and further myself in the hobby. But I just want someone to look over my shoulder so I can avoid any mistakes. I can probably build it at a helicopter field so some pro can give me a few tips or two when they are not flying. I will only build a small section at a time.
This way, I'll feel much more confident later on when I fly the thing.

If your first build is going to be the Spectra G then you are right to request help, The instructions for the Spectra G are possibly the worst I have ever seen and could confuse the most seasoned heli builder!
