I believe the team trials are being taken place at another location (another field)???

During the Team Trials AMA site 1, that’s the northern most site, may be utilized for open flying with the following restrictions:
Channels 02, 05, 07, 23, 36, 41, 51, and 60 will be restricted to the Team Trial site, which is the R/C Multipurpose site. In other words, these channels will be locked down for these 3 days. If you are coming early, which many folks do, you must be on any channel but those listed.
Also, if you come to watch some of the best flyers in the world please observe silence during the flights out of respect for the pilot.

Site 1 is the L Pad that has the pavillion. It is located on the main road. You will go in the main road and go past the control line circles on the right. The L pad (Site 1) will be the next one on the left. There is a covered pavillion located at this site also.
The Team Trials will be taking place at Site 3. This is the site that has the paved crossed runways. It is what everyone calls Stage Center at AMA. Some of you should really come out and watch some flights in the Team Trials. You will have pilots like Curtis Youngblood, Wayne Mann, Cliff Hiatt, Dwight Shilling competing for a place on the 2007 USA F3C Team that will go to Poland next year. There is two past World Champions in that group.
Also the Nats are still going on thru Sunday August 6th. Scale is there, so they will have all the frequencies. If anyone is arriving that early and expecting to be able to fly.

I got very close to buying a Travel trailer today.
It was from a very big dealership.
Everything looked good till I asked to see the A/C and refer run. They didn't. :(
We even tried the refer on 110v, 12v and gas, nutin.
New A/C and Fridge will be around $2k if I put them in.
Dealer did not want to budge on the price, insisting it was still a good deal.
I guess I am back to plan A, the tent and coolers.

Talked to a couple of friends. They are already set up at the IRCHA site with there RV's. One of them was asking if I would be there tonight for dinner. I told them I would be there Monday night <G>.
See you all this next week.

The fridge will take a while to cool, yes.
But my amp-meter says it is not pulling any power at all.
The A/C we gave 20 minutes and nothing.
The compressor tries to start and shuts off, this generally means low on charge. The only possible reason to be low on charge is a leak.
Of course being on a dealers lot I can not just climb up on the roof to start troubleshooting anything.

Just got back home. The IRCHA Jamboree was huge this year with 501 registered pilots.
Got to meet Will and pick up my new Raptor from him.
Meet Debian Dog.
Crashed my new Raptor when the tail hub failed :(
Not to much damage, saved the V-blades.
Ended up with my canopy right next to none other than Curtis Youngblood on the flight line. :noteworthy Got to meet him and his wife and two kids.
Saw some REALLY good flying.
Saw some even better crashes
All together a great week.
Huge thanks to Ron Kummer and all the other people that make the jamboree possible.

Great meeting you to Todd. That tail hub had been on that Raptor for over a year, guess it was time to go????? Sorry for your trouble with it.

NP Will, things like that happen. I always say if you are going to fly helicopters, you are going to crash helicopters. It is just that simple. She is all back toghther now. You would never know that it went in :)

A blast only starts to describe it.
I learned so many new things, and met so many new people, that I will not remember half of it.
I guess that means I'll have to go back next year.
SWARM went thru over 80 lbs of wings and 300 rum balls on Friday night.
Next year could be scary.
