I have been flying my Outrage 550 on the same set of SAB 550's since I built it. I like the SAB 0320's. It takes a little more stick to flare the heli at the bottom of an auto than some of the other helis.

I would think that Rotor Tech blades would work very well for autos on my OR 550. Anybody got any input on the subject,. I have a set of them Im thinking about trying this afternoon. Should they work well for high altitude aytos?

Thanks.

James, Steven has a set or RT 560's on one machine and SWE 550's on the other. He said they both auto very well, plenty of lift still left at the end of his autos

I wouldn't think that 560 blades would auto much better, if any, than 550's.

The 560's don't auto all that well in my opinion. They actually weigh less than most 550's on the market, not to mention that their spanwise CG is closer to the root(lower rotational inertia) than most others as well. I believe they are, however, the best 3D blades as far as cyclic speed and collective authority goes. They are REALLY aggresive on the Outrage 550's head.

Thanks for the input

Im thinking that I should have bought the Rotor 550 angle tip blades instead. Since I just sport fly.

I guess Ill mount them up and see how I like them on my Outrage. If they feel more touchy than the SABs Ill put the Sabs back on and try the RT 560-'s on my other helis,

I probably like the Sab 0320's so much because thay are very smooth feeling.

The 560's might make my light Swift an auto'in machine.
