View Full Version : 9303 or 10x?
Hey guys, I'm currently flying an 8103 with a raptor 50, T-Rex, and a fleet of airplanes, but I want to move up. I am debating between the 10x and the 9303, but I don't know anyone that owns either. So what do you guys think? Who has a 10x and who has a 9303? What do you like/dislike about each? And most importantly, is the price difference worth it?
I have heard talk of a newer radio from JR to answer the 14 ch. Futaba, but I am unsure of the timeline. Does anyone know if this is coming soon? If so, it may be worth waiting for that to come out and drop the price of the rest of the lineup. Thoughts?
Thanks for the info!

I have had the 10's, 10S, 10X, and 10SX. I now have a 9303, and wouldn't go back.
Price, features, and ease of use push the 9303 to the front.

i have the 9z and 14z from futaba, i also have the 9303 that i use for a friends setup. i have owned all the 10series radios and wouldn't have one. i really like the 9303, it's easy to use and feels good.
I really like my futaba's also.

I had an 8103 and stepped up to the 10x a couple years ago. Now with the 9303, I would probably get that over the 10x due to its versality (helis/planks/buddy box function).
The 10X is definitely a nice radio with ease of programming etc. Hopefully the new JR radio (whenever that's released) will be more on par with the Futaba gear.

Wow, thanks for all the replys guys. Sounds like I should just go for the 9303 and call it a day. :D Good thing is, with the lower price I don't have to wait as long for it.

The 10x, while a good radio, but it now very out-dated compared to the 9303 (V2 hopefully ?). 9303 a very good radio, at an affordable price.
JR have had the ball stolen for quite a while, at first with the ZAP, and now the 12Z and 14MZ.
