OK, so I had the problem with the DX6i recall and I sent it away. I upgraded to the JR X9303. Everything was great until I moved one of my receivers to a plank. I picked a new model, set it up, and then tried to bind it.

The lights on the receiver flash and flash but it never binds. Another guy at the field brought his X9303 over and it was able to bind in mere seconds. I tried several times (about 20) but it never worked.

At home I wiggled and played around with the button on the back and after about 50 tries it worked. I was happy but confused. So knowing the personalities of a lot of us here on heli freak, I tried to bind it again. No luck.

When I turn on the tx the green light in the binding button stays on. Then when I am trying to bind, while holding it in, the light flashes for about 2 seconds, then goes out.

I'm able to still use the Tx with the other heli's set up.

Is JR having problems with binding? Is there any other test to do or should I send it in for repairs?

Please help. The peak flying season is here!! Guys at the club are saying it's a sign to stay with heli's!!!!

I have never had a problem binding with my X9303, but the green light on your X9303 is operating correctly. When you are trying to bind, are keeping the bind button on the X9303 pressed? You must keep it pressed until the receiver light quits flashing and stays on. Are your batteries fully charged?

I keep my finger pushing in on the button for a while. The other x9303 and dx7 only took a second or two. While they were binding the fx light flashed slower then went solid.

On mine the rx light continues flashing rapidly.

I have 3 other heli's and one plank on this tx. Binding them was not a problem. I tried one of those rx and now I can't bind to that one!

The battery is fully charged as that was one of the places I started to check.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone has the answer.

It really sounds like a problem with the Tx. Contact Horizon.

...not the answers I was looking for. Sending it back seems like a long option.

I was hoping some one had a "magical" way to fix the problem.

Thanks for the replys

The battery port, you can plug juice into any open port. I had to look it up today why I couldn't get mine to bind. Hope this is the majic fix

do you bind via 3-wire switch or receiver port?
I couldn't bind mine via 3-wire switch unless receiver bind port was used. Also you should connect all remote receivers to main receiver.

I have found that fluorescent lights including power saving lights can interfere with binding.
Do it outside and keep about 2m away.

Is the green button suppose to flash until the binding process is over or does it only flash for about a second then stop?

It seems that I am having the same problems as the OP. I am trying to bind a 6200, sometimes the remote RX's light will go off about a half second after turning on the TX but it won't go any farther. The gree light will only stay flashing for about a second or so.

Thanks for any help,

Thomas
