Transfering Models from 14MZ to 12 MZ

I am in the process of transfering the models I have on my 14MZ to my 12 MZ. The 12 only recognizes three models at a time on the memory card. Is this right? OR could the fact I have pictures associated with my models in the 14 be a problem?

I made sure the model names are only 8 characters long and I am using the Futaba 32 Mb card that came with my 14 MZ.

I really like the feel of the 12 over the 14 so far.

I know several people that transfered models from the 14MZ to the 12Z via the CF card. All they did was make sure the model names were only 8 letters, spaces, numbers. I don't think it will accept special characters such as a * or ?. Just letters, numbers and spaces totaling no more than 8 spaces.

I don't think the pictures or the sounds that were associated with the models on the 14MZ is a problem. They just don't transfer since there is nothing on the 12Z to use them.

Glad you like the 12Z. Several pilots have switched to the 12Z from the 14MZ. They say the same. They like the feel of it better.
