where exactly does the upper collect lep set in the 91OSsz crank shaft. doest it set on the curved area in the crank shaft where it becomes from 10mm to 8mm?

do i have to drill the upper collet by 8mm bit all the way throu it

The upper collet seats partially on the smooth part of the crank shaft.
