After a couple of the issues I had with Century, I swore I'd never be back. The helis flew good, but...

Well, I was in the market for an electric heli. After looking over my options, the best bet seemed to be Century, for a few reasons, not the least being price. The LHS had a Swift in stock, the combo with the Hacker motor, and was looking to make a deal on it. It will fly good enough for me, anyway. Nobody else wanted it, they wanted the bling motor, with a bling speed control, and the bling battery. He was in the mood to deal, so I bought it.

I really hope things have improved at Century, because this is one nice little heli. They have gotten better, right?

Their tech support is hit and miss, but you can get your answers here. So far part wise, if they have it in stock, you will have no problem getting it. They just sent me my swash that was out of stock not to long ago, apparently filling orders in sequence of new stock that was previously out. Shipping is reasonable compared to other sites. And their helis are awesome if you compare price to performance. Welcome back. :D

Ok, so far this little bird looks promising. Went together real nice. I just wish I would have known that I needed to buy the connectors to solder onto the speed control for the motor. In the past, they have come with the motor. My fault for not checking. Besides that, I can't wait to get her in the air.

Also, I noticed all the bling is rather inexpensive. And I do like the bling.

Well, I flew the Swift this morning. I am impressed. When it spools up, it seems to have a bit of a shake. Well, they all shake, but this seems a bit much. However, when it reached a decent headspeed, so smooth, and quiet. I got 12.02 minutes out of the first pack, first charge, and then the wind picked up. Now, I have the lightweight setup, Hacker A30 with a 4s1p Evo 20 pack, but power was decent, and I was really suprised at how smooth it was. The Swift has exceeded my expectations, good job guys.
