A quick question on channel order with the 14MZ.
I'm sure I read somewhere that some channels have higher priority, so when using ECCPM, it's best to connect the channels as Futaba recommended.
What I'm trying to figure out is just how important this is. For example, is it worth changing my old models using 149DP receivers to follow the same channel order, and would that really give an advantage?

Then, if running the PCM-G3 receiver, is there a disadvantage in running the old legacy channel order that's default on the Futaba 9ch transmitter.

Cheers,

I run the channels in the order that the transmitter is defaulted . I have one model on G3 receiver and the other on 149. Yes running the channels in this order is beneficial to eCCPM. The channels are grouped together for better resolution.

Ch. 1 Throttle
Ch. 2 Rudder
Ch. 3 Gyro
Ch. 4 Aileron
Ch. 5 Elevator
Ch 6 Pitch
Ch. 7 Governor 1
Ch. 8 Governor 2

If you're a pro or a tweaker looking for the "absoluteliest" ;), most perfect setup, then using the new channel arrangement is the way to go. Otherwise, depending on your skills and how you fly, you probably won't notice any difference. Is there an advantage, definitely yes; does it matter whether you're using the 5014 or a 149, nope.
