It appears that the vibration and friction between the skid and the fiberglass training gear rod fatigued the rod and caused it to fail...in flight! I was a bit shaken (but not stirred) and was able to set it down without incident (on three of the remaining training legs). I was only finishing the first tank, and wanted to fly more. I removed the t-gear, and fueled it up, and had at it again. I am still on my first gallon of fuel, about a quarter left. Am I tempting fate? The second (and final flight) of the day was all within a couple of feet to the ground, continuing trying to develop basic hovering skills, but I certainly do not want to bite off more than I should chew....any thoughts?

I crashed due to the training gear vibrating off, into the main rotor. If you can land properly, you dont' need a training gear.
