Hey guys I'm getting a little braver with the Hawk Pro & it seems I don't have alot of cyclic. I don't know what the proper way to check it is but inputs on elevator & aileron doing flips, loops & rolls seem kinda lacking. Looking at the swash it looks as though if I try to get anymore out of it there would be some serious clearance issues. Also with the current travel at full aileron it slightly lifts the back of the swash plate a little. The front where the elevator is attached stays put. Any ideas on that?
I am going to try some better paddles. Does anyone have a good suggestion for paddles on a 3mm fly bar?

Thanks In Advance
Steve

Steve,

You want to reduce the cyclic so it does not bind the swash. Have you removed the flybar weights? The stock black paddles are designed to be heavy to work as a trainer, so you want any of the lighter ones. Hate to say it, but the MA white ones work good. If you don't mind spending a little more money, the V paddles are really good. Antother thing you can do to improve the cyclic response is replace the short inner balls on the swash with longer ones.

Thanks Steve,
Didnt think about using longer balls on the swash but it makes a lot of sense. I have removed the flybar weights & that made a sizable difference.
I'll do a little adjusting on the throws to stop the swash from lifting in the rear & add some good paddles & longer balls & see what I come up with.
