Today was the first day, I could really go out and fly my new lepton.
Flew 3 packs and all I can say is - I am so impressed with this little electric helicopter.
Its so smooth and just tracks so well - not pushing the 3D because batteries are new, but did some flips, rolls and backwards inverted and just flew great.
I am using the Viper 70 tails and held very well coupled with the Fut.502 gyro.
I guess I am also very pleased, that if you set this model up correctly from the beginning - there isn't going to be much tinkering - its definitely and fly, charge, fly model.
My frustration with other small electrics is hopefully behind me. I enjoyed flying the Lepton so much, I didn't want to fly the 90 glow stuff.
Enjoy guys and thanks for everyone's help when I needed - especially Finless,
Jeff H.

Glad to hear all went well Jeff!
I too am finding it is a charge and fly Heli now that I found my problem with the belt ringing. Turn out something WIERD is wrong with my set of blades.
I'll take it into the hover and no vibes.... Go out and fly around and when I hear the belt ringing in the boom bring it in to the hover and I have a tail vibe. This has been getting worse. If I land and flex the head dampeners I can go back in the hover and no vibe. Fly around and it comes back.
So Jack726 loaned me his set of blades and NO PROBLEMS anymore. 4 Packs later still no problems! I have been fighting this for 2 weeks now and just could not beleive it was the blades. In fact I had talked to Jeff Green about sending them back until I pulled out my dampeners, oiled them, and the problem went away for a couple of flights.
YES I balanced my bladeds and even had a master balancer I know try it.
So there is something wierd with my blades so I will be sending them back to Jeff to have a look.
Other than that this heli ROCKS!

I too have a tail vibe that I can not get rid of. I balanced my blades too. I has gotton worse over time. You can see the tail is not happy. My head has been looked over a million times now, I think its perfect.
I may try a new set of blades and take it from there. Im lost now. Mine rings too.

Bob, are you saying your belt-ringing issue was due to the main blades?
So far, I have not encountered this problem with mine.
Regarding the tail vibe - the Viper 70 tail blades are holding well and no vibes at all.
I would be interested to hear more about your main blade issue and tail buzz. What a great heli.,
I also made the decision to go for the new MA 50 Electric - after watching all the videos and power options - I am going to go with this heli. over the Trex 600,
let me know about the main blade thing as you figure it out,
Jeff

Yes once I get the vibe the boom is vibing up and down pretty bad! This causes the belt to also vibe inside the boom and the ringing issue! I have my belt tight.
There is SOMETHING I cannot figure out with this set of blades! I have NEVER experienced this before on any heli with blades.
So like I said I now am running Jack726's blades (he can confirm this fact) and I get NO vibes anymore EVER and thus no belt ringing.
It makes NO SENSE as the blades balance statically. Only thing I can think of is something inside the blades is moving around? They DO NOT go out of track when the vibe happens either. Really strange.
Again I thought I solved this by removing the VERY tight dampeners and oiling them per the manual. I got a couple of flights with no vibes then the vibe came back and got WORSE. If I land and FLEX the head it may or may not solve the vibe in the hover but when I dont have a vibe all I have to do is go fly it around and do some flips and such and BANG tail belt ring, come into a hover, and I got a vibe again.
All I can say is 2 more packs today with Jack726's blades and still no vibes so I am 100% sure now it is something with the blades but no idea what it could be!

I'd suggest checking the blade leading edge. When I first got into helicoptors I used to hang out on the Hornet forum. One person with blade issues found out their blade leading edge was not rounded enough. It caused various tracking, vibration, and flight problems.
If the blades are balanced, but vibrating, maybe they are out of round, too sharp a leading edge, or other shape issues.
