View Full Version : Lepton main mast lenght?

Hello,
I will probably order a Lepton soon. But can any of you, lucky Lepton owner, give me the full lenght of the main mast and also the distance between the 2 holes (use millimeters please!). I want to compare that to a Voyager E main mast. The main idea is to instal a Lepton rotor head on my Voyager E since i can't get enough pitch range to do what i want (basically +10° but only -5.5°. After that: binding. So no inverted flight).
Thank you for the time you will waste to take a look to that.

Yea.. I saw this post and said.... Only way to do this is take the heli apart!

I was hopping someone was in the building process or had a spare main mast... Of course i'm not asking anybody to tear his lepton down, as you said.

Why don't you email Jeff Green? I believe MRC just received a shipment of Lepton spare parts.

yes, I was at RCHover yesterday and they had already received a boatload of Lepton spare parts
(Trex 600 spare parts too)

I suppose you mean 150mm because 1500mm would be 1,5m.Approx 4,92 feet...
Can you also give me the positions of the holes on it? Distance between hole and end of the mast? That would be great.

It's the extra decimal and I guess I was sleeping
It's 150 mm allright.
4 holes:
Tophole: 5,50
bottomholes are close to each other
Hole 2: 117,5
Hole 3: 122,5
Hole 4: 127,5
Can you explain how you are going to use these figures?

Thank you for your help. I will compare this to a Voyager E main mast. As far as i know the Lepton is also using a 8mm diameter main mast (hope it is right or it is useless). My idea is to use a Lepton EX rotor on a voyager E. To be able to make some soft 3D with it. I can't have enough pitch range with the K&S rotor head. I hope it will be ok.
