Hi, As a Noob i was wondering if someone could check to see if i have my radio settings set up correctly? Im using a 6EXHP for HDX450SE with GY401, HS56's & S9650 on the tail.

My radio is set as follows-:

REVR-(1)Nor(2)Nor(3)Rev(4)Nor(5)Nor(6)Nor
D'R-(1,2,4)100%
EXPO-(1,2,4)0 (both switch up & down)
EPA-(1,2,3,4)100% (5)50% (6)100%
TRIM (1,2,3,4) all zero
N-TH-(1)0(2)50(3)80(4)90(5)100
N-PI-(1)40(2)45(3)50(4)75(5)100
I-TH-(1)100(2)95(3)90(4)95(5)100
I-PI-(1)0(2)25(3)50(4)75(5)100
HOLD-INH
REVO-INH
GYRO-Switch Up-50%(HH MODE) SWITCH DOWN 72% (NORMAL MODE)
SWSH-(A,E,P) all 52% (any higher & washout plate hits head)

I would be grateful if someone could let me know what i should change if anything..

Many Thanks

Hi broke again,

How can all your trim settings be zero, did you check your servo arms ??
they can't be 90 without any subtrim !

Sure the trims can be at 0 or neutral without using subtrims. If the mechancial setup is correct, that is the way it should be.

The 6EXH does not have sub trim functions, so i had to make sure that it was mechanically set at 90 as best i could...swash leveller helped too!

So far it hovers hands off, so i guess im ok re, settings.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Might want to throw a little expo in, -20 percent in both cyclic channels actually helps the throws to be more linear.

Also enable hold and set it to 0, make sure the motor is off in throttle hold, you can use this to carry it around when the battery is live and not hurt yourself if you slip and hit the throttle stick.
