My Joker is here! Here is the setup I am going to be using:

Maxi Joker V1
Actro 24-5
Kohler ESC
9202's on swash
401/9254
Tanic 5s3p 7500's
TG800 semis
Sab Tails

Now its just a matter of getting the batts wired up with connectors and doing the programming in my radio (14MZ)

Any tips? I am completely new to big electrics so I guess I need to start learning something. :shock:

I will be using the Astro 109 for charging right now, but I am now on the hunt for a Schulze 636 as I have been told that is the charger to get.

Good news! You'll take to large electrics within the first couple flights. I never flew anything larger than a Voyager E up until I built up my E*RaptorCam a couple months ago and it's old hat now.

I use a TP 1010 charger along with the 210V balancer and love them. workin' great and not too expensive.

I think I saw 'Ace Dude' on RR selling a Schulze 636 w/ computer interface in the last day or two

Only trouble with the Schulze is that if you disconnect the battery during charging without cutting off the power to the charger first it can mess withthe EPROMS or whatever to where it wont charge and you have to apply the negative lead to a battery then tap the + lead until it errors out, then it works again for a while. I guess the alternative is sending them back.... :DOH I have 2 of 4 of my Schulze chargers doing this. One of them I disconnected the battery and the other was done by someone else.

This is definitely something I had no idea about before getting them.
