I am currently using the Futaba 9252 on the collective of my gasser. I had one burn out a couple weeks ago and have sent that in to be fixed unter warranty. I was adjusting the tail today and after the flight I noticed the collective servo was sluggish. So I think I might have burned out another. I don't have binding and the whole collective system is very easy to move. Is there a different servo that is recommended to run?
I am going to charge the batteries and see if that helps.

I know that Chris and Gary both run JR8611A's (260 oz/in @ 4.8, .18 secs) on there Turbines (not sure about their EB's)
I am running Futaba S9351's (197 oz/in at 6.0v, .11 secs) and haven't had any problems at all...
you have already said you don't...but just double check that you have no binding at extreme throws...

I'll check the max throws and see if there is binding there

Top and bottom look fine, linkages easy to move no binding. And the servo is dead. Won't turn the arm at all anymore. I was moving it earlier just not much. More downtime...

9252's should be fine, unless you flying like H to the C.... :D
There were some 9252's that were giving up the ghost last year, but I thought we were past that batch by now....
