If you’re even thinking if getting an Airscoot heli absolutely forget it, or even the thought of it. This Airscoot heli is the worst thing I've ever spent money on. Period.
I've wasted money on a lot of things in my life like women, cars, drugs, other junk I didn't need, you name it, but I've never felt like I totally wasted my money until I bought this goofy looking heli that wont fly nothing like a heli should.
If there is any good to all this, the poor sap who bought this thing was smart enough to not even attempt to fly it and unload it on me. He tried to warn me that it would not fly, and of course I told him that you have to know how to fly these things. I’m an expert right? BUZZZZ wrong!
First off, fixed pitch helis went out around 15 years ago, and that is exactly what an Airscoot or should I say Poop-Scoot, because this really is a piece of crap. They call it a tandem helicopter but unlike good models where they change the pitch of the two rotors for yaw, this piece of crap moves the tail surfaces in a worthless manner to get eventual yaw movement long after you need it. The fixed pitch design is so slow in reaction that it is impossible to maintain any kind of hover what-so–ever. Don’t believe those doctored up propraganda they have on their web site this is garbage any way you look at it.
Yea, I can fly almost anything that is except this thing. The worst thing is those idiots who are selling it are not only selling a heli that won’t fly, they are charging around a thousand dollars for it. In reality they should be giving them away. If you have questions that’s exactly what they will remain because like all Internet Scams there is no address or phone numbers for the whole company. They sell you the garbage then disappear.
Since I got screwed out of almost $1000, I will dedicate the rest of my life into hopefully saving my other follow modelers from getting screwed as well. Please copy and paste this warning to all boards everywhere we don’t need unsafe crap like this at our flying fields.
