DJ,

How are the temps staying on the A30?

Do you feel like you've got plenty of reserve power to get out of trouble if you needed to?

temps are about 55° over ambient. On 100° day it was 150-160° after 8-10 minutes.

Plenty of power. The machine is lightly loaded. The mount and camera weigh about 1lb.

I think the reason some thing the A30 has no balls is they are running them on 4s. Aero-Model sells the package deal with the pinion (23T) for 4s. I would NOT run the Logo 10 on 4s with the A30 at all for AP work.... but on 5s it really moves. It also helps keep the temp down as amp draw is reduced.

5S makes sense on that motor.

I'm running 4S right now, but that's with a b50-13L.

I'd kinda like to do the 550 stretch and run 5S, but I already have the smallest pinion and was thinking of a different motor for 5S with some more pinion options.

Glad to hear it's working out for you with the cheaper packs as well!

For that price, it's almost cheaper than running e-molis.

if you factor in weight and flight time it beats the hell out of emolis!

Gary has mentioned something about Z-Power making a motor for the Logo 10. drop him a PM
